ORONO, Maine - The University of Maine softball team and new head coach,
Jordan Fitzpatrick, hit the road for a three-game America East road trip at the University at Albany this Saturday and Sunday.

The Black Bears went 1-1 in their first weekend of America East play. Maine and Stony Brook split the Saturday afternoon doubleheader before Sunday's finale was canceled due to inclement weather.

Jasmine Gray is leading the way at the plate by sporting a .342 batting average. The junior is slugging .534 with 13 RBI and two home runs.
Gabby Papushka and
Keely Clark are both hitting over .285 on the 2022 season. The pair have combined to drive in 33 RBI, slug six home runs, and score 20 runs.
Izzy Nieblas,
Kya Enos, and
Kelby Drews have eight combined home runs and 38 RBI over 29 games.
Brianna Neely has been a menace on the base paths. The senior is 9-10 in stolen base attempts and also has nine runs scored.

Caitlyn Fallon and
Emily Reid lead the team with two wins apiece. They have combined to strike out 45 hitters over their 33 combined appearances.
Gabbie Siciliano's 5.29 ERA is the lowest on the team. She has won one game over 46.1 innings.
