Jacob Schmidt-Svejstrup fed Renwick with a beautiful pass. Left all alone in front of the Friar's net, the freshman did not miss his scoring opportunity. 4:15 into the first period, Maine led 1-0.
Â
Second Goal (2-0 Maine): On the Black Bears' first power play of the contest,
Adam Dawe tipped home the second goal of the day.

Â
Third Goal (2-1 Maine): 5:30 into the second period, the Friars cut the Black Bears' lead in half. Brett Berard scored his first goal of the afternoon, but his second goal of the weekend. Â
Fourth Goal (2-2): Kohen Olischefski tied the Saturday night finale at two goals apiece with a goal very early in the third period.
Matthew Thiessen made a handful of point-blank saves before the puck popped straight into the air. Olishchefski got enough of his stick on the puck to redirect it into the Maine net. The game was tied, 2-2. 4:50 into the final period.
Â
Fifth Goal (3-2 #19/RV Providence): In the overtime period, Berard scored his second goal of the evening. Since overtime is golden goal rules, Maine dropped the series finale by the score of 3-2
