BOSTON, MA – The University of Maine women's ice hockey team fell at #5 Northeastern on Saturday evening, 2-0.

FIRST GOAL (1-0 Northeastern): Skylar Fontaine got the scoring going late into the second period for the Huskies as she netted her 6
th of the season. The power play rebound score came off of a shot by Skylar Irving (8) and a pass by Mia Brown (4).

SECOND GOAL (2-0 Northeastern): Maddie Mills netted her 14
th goal of the season, second power play goal of the game for her squad, as Northeastern extended their lead midway through the 3
rd period. Skylar Fontaine (33) and Brooke Hobson (10) picked up the assists.

That would conclude the scoring for both sides in the contest as the Huskies picked up the weekend sweep with the 2-0 victory.

Aerin Frankel picked up the win for the Huskies, her 71
st career win in Hockey East play which is the most all-time by a Hockey East Goaltender.

Jorden Mattison played hard and make it tough on the Huskies as she stopped 46 of 48 shots she faced.

Maine (12-17-1, 10-12-1 HE) stays on the road as they head to Boston University for a single game on Tuesday, Feb. 15.
