BOSTON, MA – The University of Maine women's ice hockey team fell at #5 Northeastern Friday night, 8-1.

FIRST GOAL (1-0 Northeastern): Maureen Murphy got the scoring going in the first period for the Huskies as she buried her 21
st of the season. Her point-blank power play shot came off of a feed by Skylar Fontaine (29) and Chloé Aurard (18).

SECOND GOAL (2-0 Northeastern): Just 32 seconds after the first score, the Huskies buried their second of the first period, this time coming off of the stick of Katie Cipra. Her 3
rd of the season came off assists by Tessa Ward (9) and Mia Brown (2).

THIRD GOAL (3-0 Northeastern): Maureen Murphy netted her 22
nd of the season, second of the game, as she was given a pass by Katy Knoll (7). She received the puck from Chloé Aurard (19).

FOURTH GOAL (3-1 Maine):
Kennedy Little got the Black Bears on the board with her first collegiate goal. Her slap-shot score came off of a battle for the puck by
Celine Tedenby (5) and a great feed by
Ida Kuoppala (12).

FIFTH GOAL (4-1 Northeastern): Katy Knoll kept the scoring going for the Huskies as she netted her 8
th of the season. Her score came off of a single assist by Brooke Hobson (8)

SIXTH GOAL (5-1 Northeastern): Chloé Aurard kept her big night going as she added a goal to her already multi-point night as she netted her 16
th of the season. Maddie Mills (10) and Skylar Fontaine (30) picked up the assists.

SEVENTH GOAL (6-1 Northeastern): Just 37 seconds into the third period Chloé Aurard netted her 17
th of the season, second of the night as the Huskies increased their lead. Skylar Fontaine (31) and Brooke Hobson (9) picked up the assists.

EIGHTH GOAL (7-1 Northeastern): Maureen Murphy netted the hat-trick as she scored her third of the night, 23
rd of the season. Maddie Mills (11) and Skylar Fontaine (32) picked up the assists.

NINTH GOAL (8-1 Northeastern): Maddie Mills kept the big night going for the Huskies as she netted her 13
th of the season. Mia Brown (3) and Victoria Mariano (2) picked up the assists.

Maine (12-16-1, 10-11-1 HE) will wrap up the regular season series against the Huskies on Saturday, Feb. 12. Puck drop is slated for 5:00 P.M.
