Orono, ME – The University of Maine field hockey team feel to Stanford in the America East Semifinals on Friday afternoon, 3-0.
Haley Mossmer got the scoring going in the second period for Stanford as she tipped in a great pass by Molly Redgrove (2). The score was her of the season ninth of the season.
Haley Mossmer made it a multi-goal performance as she scored her second of the game on a one-time shot off of the feed by Lynn Vanderstichele (3). The score was her tenth of the season.
Haley Mossmer scored the hat-trick on one-time shot off of a great set up by Lynn Vanderstichele (4). The score was her third of the contest and 11th of the season.
Poppy Lambert would break the all-time program record with her 22nd goal of the season late in the fourth quarter as she scored on a penalty the corner.
