Orono, ME - The University of Maine men's basketball team is set to take on ACC opponent Boston College on Monday, Nov. 14.

HISTORY:
These two sides will be squaring off for the 24th time on Monday night, with Boston College holding a big lead all-time against the Black Bears, holding an 18-5 record over Maine.
ABOUT THE BLACK BEARS:
Maine is coming off of it's first win under new Head Coach Chris Markwood back on Friday, Nov. 11, a 90-45 contest over UMFK.
The Black Bears were led in that contest by the strong performance by Peter Filipovity, who came off the bench to get his first collegiate double-double, a 17-11 performance.
Filipovity's seven rebounds per game currently leads the Black Bears on the young season.
Gedi Juozapaitis has had back-to-back great performances to begin his tenure as a Black Bear. He is most recently coming off of a six for nine shooting night, good for 15 points, while also grabbing four rebounds, dishing out three assists and registering a blocked shot.
Juozapaitis is currently leading the Black Bears in scoring early on in the season, as he is averaging 17.5 points per contest over the 1-1 start for the Black Bears.
Kellen Tynes is coming off of his best performance as a Black Bear, as he was a very efficient five for six shooting, a perfect four of four from the free throw line, he dished out four assists and swiped away seven steals in the winning effort back on Friday. Tynes is averaging four steals per contest.
ABOUT THE EAGLES:
Boston College is coming off of a 70-66 win over Detroit Mercy back on Friday, Nov. 11.
The eagles had a well-balanced offense in the winning performance as four of their five starters had double-digit scoring performances. Leading the way was Mason Madsen, who scored 18 points, including five triples.
Makai Ashton-Langford (15-2-3), Jaeden Zackery (14-3-1) and T.J. Bickerstaff (13-11-2) were key contributors in the winning effort by the Eagles, who are off to a 2-0 start on the young season.
Ashton-Langford comes into the matchup Monday against the Black Bears leading his squad in scoring per contest at 13.5 points per game. Bickerstaff (12.5), Zackery (12.5), Madsen (11.0) and CJ Penha Jr. (10.0) are all scoring in the double-digits to begin the young season.
