Walton and Lambert Score in the Contest
Newton, MA – The University of Maine field hockey team has second longest win-streak in the country snapped at Boston University Tuesday night by a final score of 5-2.
Payton Anderson got the scoring going during the second period for the Terriers as she scored her fifth goal of the season on a penalty corner chance. Casey Thompson (7) and Thalia Steenssens (4) picked up the assists.
Payton Anderson made it a multi-goal performance in the second quarter as she netted her sixth of the season on the penalty corner chance with just under a minute remaining in the second quarter. Megan Wetzel (1) and Thalia Steenssens (5) picked up the assists on the score.
Tess Csejka would get the scoring going in the third quarter for the Terriers as she scored her eighth goal of the season. Thalia Steenssens (6) picked up her third assist of the night.
Tess Csejka would make it a multi-goal night as she scored her ninth goal of the season as she gathered in a saved shot inside the circle.
