ORONO, ME - The University of Maine men's basketball team is set to host the UNH Wildcats, presented by Buffalo WIld Wings, on Monday, Jan. 24 at 7:00 P.M.

A LOOK AT THE BLACK BEARS:
The Black Bears will be looking for a redemption game following an off night against UMBC, in which they foundthemselves losing 88-46.
The Black Bears are going to be looking for Lechaun DuHart for an offesnive spark, following an off night from the field shooting wise in his return to the lineup after being out due to injury.Â
Kristians Feierbergs has been another hot hand for the Black Bears, dropping 22-11 back on Jan. 19 at UMass Lowell.
The Black Bears find themselves at the top of America East in steals per game (8.1) which gives them a national rank of 57th.
A LOOK AT UNH:
UNH is coming off of a victory on Jan. 22 against the UMass Lowell Riverhawks, 67-61. Nick Guadarrama and Blondeau Tchoukuiegno both scored 16 points in their squads victory.
Nick Johnson (14 pts) Jayden Martinez (10 pts) and Qon Murphy (10 pts) were also among the top scorers for UNH in their latest victory.Â
The Wildcats come into the matchup against the Black Bears committing the fewest turnonvers per game in the country (8.4). They are also the best 3pt shooting team in America East (38.1%), which ranks them 21st in the country.
HISTORY AGAINST UNH:
The Black Bears face their border battle rival for the 198th time on Wednesday night, with Maine holding a big edge in the all-time matchup, 121-76. The last matchup on Jan. 3, 2021, resulted in a Wildcat victory, a narrow 62-58 win.
