Portland Football Summer Camp Registration Open Now!

Camps to be held in Portland, Maine on July 30 and July 31

Orono, Maine -- The University of Maine football program is excited to bring its Summer Sports Camps, presented by Dunkin', to Portland, Maine on July 30 and July 31!

"It's time to bring back football camps to the state of Maine! The University of Maine football program will hold a youth camp on July 30, followed by our high school camp on July 31, in southern Maine," says head football coach Nick Charlton. "Our entire staff, college colleges, and high school coaches from New England will be on hand to instruct and continue to grow our great game in our home state. Make sure to sign up for your spot soon. Go Blue!"

The Black Bears will host two camps in southern Maine starting with a youth camp at Fitzpatrick Stadium on Friday, July 30. The youth camp will be open to all youth in grades 4-8 and will run from 12-5 p.m. Cost for the youth camp is $75 per attendee. The Black Bears will host a high school prospect camp at Deering High School on Saturday, July 31 from 12-4 p.m. Cost for the high school prospect camp is $50 per attendee. A helmet is required to participate. College coaches from around the region will be present at the camp.

During these camp sessions, athletes will learn and develop new fundamentals and skill sets along with learning how to become a better player and teammate. Those who attend will have the benefit of learning from the only Division I coaching staff and players in the state of Maine! Athletes will have the pleasure of working and playing alongside members of the 2021-22 Black Bears!

The youth camp is designed to be non-contact, with emphasis on learning and improving basic fundamentals and techniques. Shoulder pads and helmet will be used.The high school camp is designed to be non-contact, with emphasis on learning and improving basic fundamentals and techniques. Shoulder pads and helmet will not be used.

All camps are open to any and all entrants. Limited only by age, number, grade level and/or gender.
