Orono, Maine – University of Maine guard Alba Orois is one of 16 competing for a spot on the U19 Spanish National Team roster. Orois will take part in the team's training camp in May where she will look to impress the coaches and earn a spot as one of 12 members of Team Spain, which will go on to compete at the 2021 FIBA U19 World Cup in Hungary in August.
 
Team Spain will begin its 2021 FIBA U19 World Cup competition when they take on Korea on Aug. 7.  
 
The rising sophomore guard appeared in all 20 games for the Black Bears during her rookie campaign while averaging 3.6 points, 0.8 assists, and 1.1 rebounds with a 36.6% mark from three-point range.
