ORONO, Maine -- The University of Maine women's basketball team has released its America East league schedule, as announced by the league this morning.
Following a
previously announced 13-game non-conference schedule, the Black Bears are set to kick-off conference play on Jan. 1 when they travel to take on UMass Lowell before a trip to Bryant on Jan. 3.
After opening with a pair of road games, Maine returns home for three as it hosts UMBC on Jan. 8 and NJIT on Jan. 10.
The Black Bears will host the defending America East champion Vermont Catamounts on Jan. 15.
A three-game road series follows with stops at New Hampshire (Jan. 17) and an America East semifinal rematch at UAlbany (Jan. 22) before rounding out the stretch with a showdown at Binghamton on Jan. 24.
Maine closes out January with a home date with UMass Lowell on the 31st before opening February at Vermont on Feb. 5.
The Black Bears host Bryant on Feb. 7 before hitting the road for contests at UMBC (Feb. 12) and NJIT (Feb. 14).
Maine closes the regular season conference slate with three games in Orono beginning with a Buffalo Wild Wings Border Battle against New Hampshire on Feb. 21.
The Black Bears wrap-up the regular season by hosting UAlbay on Feb. 26 and Binghamton on Feb. 28.
