New Britain, Conn. -- Julia Feid and Allison Fayard each posted All-New England qualifying marks in their respective events on day one of the New England Championships at Veterans Stadium.

Julia Feid had the top finish of the day, placing fourth in the javelin with a mark of 41.54m.

Allison Fayard finished fifth in the hammer, posting a personal record and the seventh best hammer throw in school history, with a mark of 50.83m.

Emma Jourdain added a ninth place showing in the 5000m run, crossing the line in 18:01.13.
