ORONO, ME - The University of Maine women's ice hockey team is looking to keep their current 4-game winning streak alive as they play host to non-conference opponent Clarkson.
For the Black Bears, they are coming off of a weekend in which they defeated Boston University, 5-1, and Providence College, 3-2.
Loryn Porter was named the Hockey East Goaltender of the Week for her performances against the Hockey East Opponents, where she stopped 63 of 66 shots faced between the two contests.
The Black Bears were led offensively by a number of players as 7 different skaters scored for UMaine.
Taylor Leech was the only Black Bear to score a second goal, one in each matchup.
Nicole Pateman had four points (1G, 3A) against Boston University on Friday.
Bailey Oakes, Jennifer Costa and Mira Seregély all scored their first goal as a UMaine Black Bear over the weekend.
Clarkson, who is currently ranked #10 in the country by USCHO, is coming off of a weekend in which they beat ECACH conference opponent Brown, 5-1, dropped a game against conference opponent Yale, 4-2. Clarkson currently stands at a 12-2-2 record with a 5-1-0 conference record.
Game one against the Golden Knights takes place on Friday, Nov. 26 and game two on Saturday, Nov. 27. Both are scheduled to begin at 2:00 P.M. EST.
