BOULDER, Colorado -- The University of Maine men's basketball team was defeated by the University of Colorado, 90-46, on Monday evening at the CU Events Center.

Vaksin Masic led the way for Maine as the guard finished with 11 points and four assists. Chris Efretuei added 10 points, six rebounds, and two blocks, while Kristians Feierbergs chipped in nine points and three rebounds.

Maine saw eight of its players find their way into the scoring column as the Black Bears finished the contest 16-of-49 from the floor while hitting 9-of-15 free throws. On the boards, Maine grabbed 23 total rebounds and blocked two Buffalo shots. The Black Bears also held two separate leads.

At the 10:50 mark of the first half, the Black Bears held a 13-12 lead over the Buffaloes. Chris Efretuei's six points and massive presence in the paint stifled the PAC-12 team's rhythm.
