About the Black Bears
           Maine is coming off a weekend sweep of the Terriers of Boston University, 3-2 and 2-1.
           Maine is 0-1 in program history in the Hockey East semifinals, with their lone loss coming back in 2018 against the Huskies, who went on to win it all that year.

Ida Kuoppala recently won Rookie of the Month and of the Week following her performance against the Terriers. She scored the double overtime game-winner on Friday, Feb. 28 Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â and scored a power play goal on Saturday, Feb. 29.

Ali Beltz, Tereza Vanisova and Vendula Pribylova all picked up goals in the sweep for UMaine.

Carly Jackson finished with a total of 84 saves on the weekend, 57 on Friday and 27 on Saturday.

About the Huskies
           Are coming into the semifinals following a sweep of Vermont in the quarterfinals 5-1 and 3-1.
           Matti Hartman, Mia Brown, Aline Mueller (2), Tessa Ward, Kate Holmes Skylar Fontaine and Peyton Anderson all scored for the Huskies.
           Aerin Frankel finished with 43 saves on the weekend, 18 on Thursday and 25 on Friday.
           The Huskies are looking to advance to the Championship game for the fourth straight season.

History against Northeastern
           The Black Bears held a 1-2-0 record against the Huskies during the regular season.
           The lone win came in the November 24, 2019 matchup, where the Black Bears stunned the Huskies in the 3-2 overtime winner. At the time, it was the only home loss for the             Huskies in conference play.

Loryn Porter finished with 50 saves in the contest, earning Co-Defensive Player of the Week honors.

Morgan Trimper, Vendula Pribylova and Celine Tedneby all scored in the game for Maine.
           Veronika Pettey and Chloe Aurard scored for the Huskies.
           Aerin Frankel finished with 22 saves in the game.
