About the Black Bears
           Maine is coming off of a weekend where they were swept by the Huskies of UConn, 2-1 and 5-2.

Ida Kuoppala kept up her strong month of January, as she netted a goal in each of the contests for Maine. The goals were her 11
th and 12
th of the season.

Celine Tedenby scored her ninth goal of the season in the Saturday matchup.

Carly Jackson finished the weekend with 37 saves.
           The Black Bears currently sit in seventh place in the Hockey East Standings.

About the Wildcats
           Coming off of a weekend where they swept Holy Cross, 3-0 and 5-2.
           Taylor Wenczkowski, Meghara McManus and Tamara Thierus all scored in the 3-0 victory.
           Nikki Harnett picked up the shutout in the victory.
           Wenczkowski and Thierus would each pick up another goal in the Saturday finale, while McManus picked up two goals in the contest.
           Grace Middleton picked up the fifth goal for the Wildcats.
           Harnett picked up 21 saves in the win.
           New Hampshire currently sits in sixth place in the Hockey East standings.

           The two teams have already meet once this season when Maine traveled to the Wildcats.
           The Black Bears came away with the victory, 3-0 in the contest.
           Tereza Vanisova, Vendula Pribylova and
Taylor Leech all scored in the victory.

Loryn Porter picked up the 19-save shutout win for Maine.
           Ava Boutilier racked up 28 saves in the losing effort.
