ORONO, Maine – University of Maine Athletics and its multimedia rights partner, Black Bear Sports Properties, announced on Monday, July 29, 10 dates for the 2019-20 football and men's ice hockey local television schedule. These select games will air live on WVII/WFVX (Bangor), WPME (Portland), and WVII Presque Isle.
 
"I take a great deal of pride living in Maine," WVII/WFVX General Manager, Mike Palmer said. "It's hard to blame my parents but unfortunately, I wasn't born here. This great state of Maine, well we've adopted each other. I live the history, the can do culture, it is the way life ought to be. The best part for me, the very best part is working with the University of Maine and the terrific people at Learfield IMG College to bring OUR teams, our football team and our hockey team, to local television."
 
The first broadcast of the season will take place on Saturday, Oct. 12 when football hosts Richmond at Alfond Stadium at noon. Men's Ice Hockey will start its televised schedule on Friday, Nov. 1 when it welcomes Boston University to Alfond Arena for a 7:30 p.m. puck drop.

Oct. 26 - William & Mary - 1 p.m.
Nov. 16 - Rhode Island - 12 p.m.

Nov. 1 – Boston University (7:30 p.m.)
Nov. 15 – New Hampshire (7:30 p.m.)
Jan. 31 – Merrimack (7:30 p.m.)
Feb. 7 – Northeastern (7:30 p.m.)
Feb. 15 – UConn (7:30 p.m.)
Feb. 22 – Vermont (5:00 p.m.)
March 6 – Providence (7:30 p.m.)
