WORCESTER, Mass-- Maine women's track and field teams took to Massachusetts for the Holy Cross Invitational on Saturday, with three Black Bears setting personal records in their events.

Freshman
Kaylee Porter took the 800 meter finals at 2:15.10 for the team's best finish in the event this outdoor season.

Emma Jourdain had her personal best in the 5000 meter at 10:08.61, taking seventh in the event. Joining her with a personal best was junior
Brittany Torchia in the 400 meter hurdles, which she finished at 1:02.53 for second place in the event.

In field events,
Sarah Vanacore set a PR for hammer throw at 48.83 meters. The sophomore also had an 11.56 meter shot put on the day for Maine's top finish in the event.

Jessica Kroushl finish the 100 meter finals at 12.67 before crossing the line in 25.95 in the 200 meter dash. In the 400 meters,
Samantha Sudol earned the Black Bears top finish at 58.48.

Both relay teams took fourth place, with the 4x100 group of Ariel Chachar,
Ashley Anderson,
Jessica Kroushl and
Katherine Cowan crossed at 48.18 before the 4x400 group of Torchia, Sudol,
Kiana Letourneau and
Haley Michienzi finish at 4:02.92.
