BOSTON-- The UMaine track and field teams has a host of strong performances at the New England Championships on Friday and Saturday.

- Â Â Â Â Â Â In the pentathlon,
Camden Cleathero took first in the 60-meter dash at 7.12, 15-tenths of a second ahead of the next-closest competitor. He went on to take sixth in the long jump, with his best at 6.10 meters. He took seventh in shot put at 11.28 meters.
- Â Â Â Â Â Â In Saturday's heptathlon, Cleathero took fourth in the 60 meter hurdles at 8.88 before coming in tenth in the pole vault at 3.40 before finishing seventh in the 1000 meter run at 3:01.80. He ended the weekend in fifth place in the heptathlon.

Aaron Willingham took second place in the 1000 meter run at 8:25.91

Kelby Mace with a 7.16 prelim time in the 60-meter dash to come in at 24.

Elijah White took sixth in the long jump at 7.00 meters, with
Troy Davis earning a 6.58 meters in the event.
- Â Â Â Â Â Â In the triple jump on Saturday, White earned ninth place in the triple jump after finishing at 14.23 meters.
- Â Â Â Â Â Â In the preliminaries, James Olivier took fourth in the 800-meter run at 1:55.25, and was joined by
Ethan Orach at 1:54.71 in eighth to qualify for the finals. Olivier took second in the finals at 1:53.04, with Orach coming in sixth at 1:54.01.
- Â Â Â Â Â Â For the women, Brianna Ewing and Katherine Cowan ran in the prelims in the 60-meter hurdles and took a 9.26 and 9.49 respectively, coming up short of a finals qualification.
- Â Â Â Â Â Â Senior
Ariel Clachar took ninth in the pole vault at 5.50 meters.
- Â Â Â Â Â Â Sarah Vancore finished with a 14.87m throw in the weight throwing event, coming in sixteenth overall.
- Â Â Â Â Â Â Three Black Bears represented in the 60-meter dash prelims.
Cassidy Hill came in tenth at 7.87 and qualified for the finals.
Ariel Clachar finished in 7.98 and Jessica Kroushl finished at 8.13.
- Â Â Â Â Â Â In the 400-meter dash finals Lauren Maguson came in fourth at 56.35 after finishing in 57.16 seconds in the prelims.

Cassidy Hill also took fourth in the 200-meter dash prelims, finishing at 25.06 to qualify for finals, where she came in fifth at 25.01.
- Â Â Â Â Â Â Both
Anna Schumann and Oliviah Damboise represented in the triple jump, coming in with 11.22 meter and 11.06 meter results, respectively.
- Â Â Â Â Â Â The men's 4x800 relay team finished at 13, as
Ethan Orach, Travis Nickerson, James Olivier and
Colin Tardiff came in at 8:10.91.
- Â Â Â Â Â Â Also finishing in 13 was the 4x400 team of
Andrew Clement,
Branden Kuusela,
Michael O'Clair and Ben Cotton coming in at 3:25.81.
- Â Â Â Â Â Â The women's 4x800 relay team finished eighth with Kaylee Porter,
Cliodhna O'Malley,
Catherine Christiansen and
Elisabeth Redwood finishing at 9:29.65.
- Â Â Â Â Â Â Coming in fourth place of the 4x400 relay was Jessica Kroushl,
Alexis Dietrich, Samantha Sudol and
Brittany Torchia came in at 3:53.31.
