BOSTON, Mass--
Celine Tedenby earned her second Pro Ambitions Hockey East Rookie of the Week on Monday after a four-point game against UConn.
Â
Tedenby had two goals and two assists in Friday's home contest against UConn, overtaking the team lead in points with 23.
Â
After assisting on the opening goal of the game, she fired a shot from the face-off circle cutting in from the boards unchallenged. Her quick release had enough to break through Morgan Fisher's initial save before continuing to trickle through five hole and in.
Â
Her second goal came later in the second period as she tipped in a pass in the slot from
Liga Miljone along the boards. Her final assist of the day came on
Michelle Weis' goal in the second to give Maine a 4-0 lead.
Â
The Ornskolsvik, Sweden native earned Rookie of the Week honors earlier this season on Nov. 26 after a five point weekend against Dartmouth.
Â
Maine heads to New Hampshire for another Hockey East series, with games on Saturday, Feb. 2 and Sunday, Feb. 3 with puck drop for both games at 2 p.m.
