About the Black Bears
• Maine split its first weekend series of the year against Boston University, taking the first game 1-0 Saturday before falling 3-0 on Sunday.
• In the victory against Boston University, Michelle Weis scored the deciding goal with 4:22 left to play in the game.
• The shutout was Carly Jackson's first of the season and the fifth of her career. The Black Bears goaltending has combined to keep opponents of the scoreboard in five games this season.
• The Black Bears program sits on 299 wins since the team first started in 1997-98.

About the Crusaders
•  Holy Cross dropped both games in a home-and-home last weekend against UConn, falling 6-3 and 6-4.
• Junior Rachel Moore had a five point weekend for Holy Cross, scoring a goal and two assists in the first game of the weekend.
• The six goals in both contests were the highest goal totals for the Crusaders this season.
• Leading Holy Cross offensively is Rachel Moore and Carlie Magier in goals with five, Moore in points with 10, and Julie Matthias in assists with 6.
• The Crusaders earned their first victory on Nov. 30 against Northeastern, 5-3. The Crusaders trailed 2-0 before scoring four straight for the win.
• In the win, Jada Brenon turned away 34 Huskies shots for the win.
• Brenon has split goaltending duties with Julia Pelletier. Brenon, in 12 appearances, holds a 1-9-1 record, 4.29 GAA and a .855 save percentage. Pelletier this season has a 0-9-1 record, 4.57 GAA and .881 save percentage.
• The Crusaders are still in their first DI season and hold a 1-18-2 overall record, with a 1-14-0 WHEA record.
The Series with Holy Cross
• Saturday's matchup between Maine and Holy Cross is the second all-time meeting between the two Hockey East teams.
• The squads first met on November 4, 2018 in Orono, with Maine taking an 8-0 win. This series is Maine's first-ever at the Hart Center in Worcester.
• Lydia Murray and Cailey Hutchison both had two goals in the contest, while Anna Zikova, Vendula Pribylova, Ida Press and Maddie Giordano all scored.
