ORONO, Maine – After completing another weekend undefeated, the No. 18 UMaine field hockey team is set to end its season-long seven game road trip at Northeastern on Friday, before returning home on Sunday afternoon to battle No. 20 Harvard.
The Black Bears will take on Northeastern at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while Maine and Harvard will meet at 1:00 p.m. at the UMaine Field Hockey Complex on Sunday in a game broadcasted on ESPN .
On Sunday, UMaine students that attend the game against Harvard can pick up a Black Bear blanket by showing their student ID at the marketing table in front of the bleachers. Supplies are limited, so get to the field early!

• The Black Bears earned victories over Cornell (5-0) and UC Davis (7-1) this past weekend to win the Catamount Classic.
• The Black Bears are one of only five undefeated teams in the country, joining No. 1 North Carolina (7-0), No. 2 UConn (7-0), No. 3 Maryland (8-0) and No. 11 Old Dominion (7-0).
• For her performance this past weekend,
Libby Riedl earned Most Valuable Player at the Catamount Classic, and America East Offensive Player of the Week. She tallied two goals against UC Davis and an assist against Cornell.
• Riedl's five points this weekend has moved her up to 92 career points.

Nina Keur earned her first America East weekly award as she was honored as the conference's Rookie of the Week. She scored a goal in each game and added an assist against the Big Red.
• The Black Bear offense continues to rank among the best in the country. As of Monday, Maine leads the nation in goals per game (4.71), while ranking second in scoring average (4.67), third in scoring margin (3.68) and fourth in points per game (12.00).
• Defensively, Maine has been just as impressive, as freshman goalkeeper
Mia Borley and the Black Bear defense has registered a goals against average of less than one goal per game (0.99), which is seventh best in the country.
• After taking on the Huskies, Maine returns home for the first time since Aug. 24, when Maine opened the season with a 9-1 win over Holy Cross. The Black Bear seniors hold a 20-6 record over the past four seasons at the UMaine Field Hockey Complex.
• Over the past four games, Maine has tallied 20 goals, from 11 different players. No individual player has registered more than three goals in that span.
About the Northeastern Huskies (2-5, 0-0 CAA)
• While the Huskies record this season might not standout, the competition they have faced has been fierce. Four of Northeastern's five losses have come against nationally ranked competition, and three of those four losses have been by a difference of two goals or less.
• Northeastern and Maine have played two opponents in common in Holy Cross and Boston University. Both teams defeated Holy Cross, while Maine beat Boston University (2-1) and Northeastern lost to the Terriers (4-1).
• June Curry-Lindahl and Camille O'Conor has provided eight of the Huskies 11 goals this season and 19 of Northeastern's 30 points.
• In the cage, Julia Gluyas has started in all seven games, making an impressive 6.71 saves per game. That mark ranks 11

• Before taking on Maine on Sunday, Harvard will host Ivy League foe Yale on Friday night.
• Harvard holds wins over UNH. (4-1). Holy Cross (4-0), Northeastern (2-0), and UMass (4-0) this season.
• The Crimson's lone blemish this season was a 3-1 loss to No. 3. Maryland on Sept. 9.
• In six games, Harvard has only let up six goals, including posting back-to-back shutouts heading into the Yale game. The Crimson have not allowed a goal in nearly 150 minutes of gametime.
• On offense, Harvard ranks ninth nationally in both goals per game (3.33) and goals allowed per game (1.00).
• Bente van Vlijmen leads the Crimson with seven goals and 15 points. Six other players have tallied between five and seven points in six games this season.
