Box Score ORONO, Maine - The University of Maine women's soccer team defeated the University of Maine at Machias Clippers 11-0 on Sunday evening at the Mahaney Diamond on the campus of the University of Maine.

Nicole Bailey scored the first of four first half Black Bear goals when she found the back of the net at the 19:45 mark. Bailey received a pass from teammate
Olivia Bamford and did the rest.
Susannah Gaines added the second goal after she slammed home a corner kick from
Amanda Sandberg.

Saylor Clark joined the scoring party at the 30:05 mark.
Anna-Maria Dagher lead the freshman beautifully and provided her with a wide open net. Clark's goal was the first of her career.
Charlotte Messer just barely beat the halftime buzzer when she beat the Maine-Machias goalkeeper.
Emma Donovan recorded the assist on the goal that gave UMaine a 4-0 lead going into the half.

The goalie for Machias, Megan Cote, on numerous occasions, saved more than one shot from point-blank range for her squad. Cote was a big reason why the Clippers held UMaine scoreless for the first 19 minutes for the contest.

The Black Bears scored seven second half goals, which gave them an 11-0 victory over the Clippers.

The Black Bears held a 29-to-0 advantage in shots on goal, while also winning the corner kick battle, 9-0.

Keeper Kriebisch and Alison Toby did not make a save in goal for UMaine, while their Maine-Machias counterpart, Megan Cote, made 18.
