ORONO, Maine -- University of Maine Athletics and its multimedia rights partner, Black Bear Sports Properties, are excited to announce a three-game football television broadcast schedule for the 2018-19 season. These select games will air live on WVII/WFVX (Bangor) and WPME (Portland) as well as nationally on Fox College Sports.
Additionally, the Black Bears will be featured on five other networks throughout the season, including two games as part of the Colonial Athletic Association's (CAA) CBS Sports Digital (CBSi) and Fox Sports Go packages. In all, eight of Maine's 11 games are currently scheduled to air on a linear and/or digital network.
The local, linear broadcasts will feature UMaine's final three home games of the regular season, beginning on Oct. 6 when the Black Bears host Colonial Athletic Association rival Villanova at 3:30 p.m. Homecoming weekend follows when UMaine and UAlbany meet in CAA action on Oct. 27 at 1:00 p.m. for a live television broadcast. The three-game televised series wraps up on Nov. 17 when the Black Bears close the conference schedule against Elon in the regular season finale.

"It was a very proud moment for me bringing the Black Bears back to local television and I am pleased to have a long term relationship not only with the University but Learfield, the best in the business."
Five of Maine's road games will be featured on both linear and digital platforms. ESPN+ will carry Maine's second game of the season, when the Black Bears travel to meet Western Kentucky on Sept. 8. Maine will be featured on YurView on Cox Communications on Oct. 20 when it ventures to William & Mary. The CBS Sports Digital "CAA Game of the Week" on CollegeSportsLive/CBSi will feature the Black Bears taking on Towson in Maryland on Nov. 3. Maine will close its road digital schedule when it meets Richmond on Nov. 10 live on NBC Sports Washington/Plus.
The CAA is once again teaming with CBS Sports Digital for a "CAA Game of the Week" package. CBSi will air 11 games which can be seen for free on CollegeSportsLive.com. FOX will also televise 10 games that can be seen on FOX Sports Go as well as FOX College Sports.

In addition, CAA.TV provides free digital coverage of numerous CAA Football contests throughout the season via tablets, phones and desktop computers. CAA.T V is available through a variety of custom OTT applications on Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV and Android TV.
All of UMaine's games can also be heard across the Black Bear Sports Radio Network. Rich Kimball and Bob Lucy join forces in the booth for their 22nd year. Fans can find the games on the following networks: WVOM 103.9 FM-Bangor, 101.3 FM-Augusta, 95.1 FM-Rockland, 1450 AM-Rockland and 1310 AM-Portland, along with streaming worldwide at GoBlackBears.com.
