ORONO, Maine -- UMaine softball summer camp registration is open now! Reserve your spot today for one, or both, of our summer camp offerings, presented by Dunkin Donuts and supported by DownEast Orthopedics and Dominos!

The Black Bears will be presenting two summer camp sessions this season: Summer Prospect Camp (July 9-11) | Summer Skills Camp (July 22-26).

The Summer Prospect Camp is open to ages 13-18 while the Summer Skills Camp is open to ages 9-18. Players will be separated into proper skill/age groups. Each camp will focus on enhancing fundamental softball skills that cover all aspects of the game. During the morning, campers will work on specific skills and mechanics through a rotating circuit. In the afternoon, more drills will be introduced as well as position work. Pitchers and catchers will be separated from the infields and outfielders to receive extra instruction prior to the games. In the evening, campers will play games on Kessock Field as well as Mahaney Diamond. Teams will be created to put the players in the best situation to be successful. Parents are welcome to watch.
