BOSTON – Running against strong competition in the 1 mile run, Jacob Johns earned a 55^th place finish at the Boston University Last Chance Qualifier.

Johns crossed the finish line in 4:17.36, which placed him 55^th among the field of 90. The senior had a busy weekend in Boston, earning runner-up (4:07.46) in the same event on Saturday at the America East Championships, while also taking fourth relay as the second leg of 4x800 relay 7:42.32.
 
Johns and select Black Bears will be back in Boston for the ECAC/IC4A Championships next weekend. The North Andover, Massachusetts native finished sixth in the mile run last season at ECAC/IC4A's, posting a time of 4:07.94.
