About the Black Bears
• Maine earned a point in a thrilling overtime battle against Northeastern on Saturday, tying the Huskies 3-3 in the team's Skating Strides game.
•
Celine Tedenby scored the only goal for the Black Bears on Friday in her return to the team following the Four Nations Cup. Tedenby has three goals and nine points through 11 games this year.
• The Black Bears penalty kill was tested by the Huskies last weekend and was strong as a whole, stopping 9 of 11 power play opportunities for Northeastern.

Carly Jackson had both starts in net over the weekend, stopping 56 shots between the pair of games.

About the Big Green
•  Dartmouth is coming off of a weekend away from the rink after a pair of home games against the Rochester Institute of Technology on Nov. 9 and 10. Dartmouth lost the first game to RIT 5-0 Friday before tying the second game 2-2 on Saturday.
• The Big Green are tenth in the ECAC, with only two conference points; last place Union has 1 point.
• Overall, Dartmouth holds a 2-5-1 record with wins a 3-2 overtime win at Quinnipiac on Nov. 13 and a 3-1 win against Vermont on Nov. 6.
• Through eight games, five players have at least three points. The Big Green have one of the lowest scoring offenses in the NCAA putting up 1.38 goals per game.
• Leading the team between the pipes is senior goaltender Christine Honor. Through seven games played, Honor is 2-4-1 with a 3.08 goals against average and an .897 save percentage.

The Series with Dartmouth
• Saturday's meeting between Maine and Dartmouth is the 15th all-time meeting between the two competitors, with Dartmouth holding the series lead at 10-3-0.
• Last season, Maine and Dartmouth split the series in Hanover. Dartmouth took the first game, 3-0. Maine won game two 7-2, with goals from Vendula Pribylova,
Cailey Hutchison,
Maggie Blair and Tereza Vanisova. Â
• In the last five games between the two teams, Maine holds a 3-2-0 advantage.

• Maine hosted Northeastern in a weekend series, where the Black Bears welcomed in the Hockey East leading Huskies, looking to move up in the conference standings.
• The Black Bears couldn't get through Northeastern goaltender Aerin Frankel, who entered Friday's contest with an 0.20 goals against average in conference play.
Celine Tedenby scored Maine's only goal on Saturday at 11:12 of the third period.
• Maine found greater success against Brittany Bugalski in net for the Huskies on Saturday, punching in three goals.

Lydia Murray open the scoring at 17:01 in the first on a rush with
Cailey Hutchison to give the Black Bears a lead they would not relinquish.
• Tereza Vanisova scored her team leading ninth goal in the last minute of the first. The final goal for Maine on the night was a rocket by

• The tie was Maine's first of this season in the second overtime appearance this year. In the first game of the season at Quinnipiac, the Black Bears defeated the Bobcats 2-1 in the extra frame.

• Tereza Vanisova is tied for No. 3 in the conference in goal scoring with nine tallies through 13 games this season.

Alyson Matteau is tied for tenth in assists in Hockey East with eight helpers through 13 games. The senior captain also leads the conference in blocked shots with 41 through 14 games; 10 higher than the next player.

Comparing the Conference
• Hockey East proves to be as tight as ever in 2018, as only four points separate the second and fifth place teams.
• First place Northeastern is still undefeated in conference play, holding a 10-0-2 record.
• Boston College and Providence are tied for second with a 7-1-0 WHEA record this year.
• Maine currently tied for seventh in Hockey East with UConn. The Black Bears have a 3-6-1 conference record, good for seven points.

• Maine started the month in Falmouth, Maine, hosting Merrimack on Nov. 2. The Black Bears fell 5-1 in front of a sellout crowd at the Family Ice Arena.
• On Nov. 4, the Black Bears played their first-ever contest against Hockey East newcomers, the Holy Cross Crusaders, 8-0.

• Maine hosted its Hockey East Skating Strides game on Nov. 17 against Northeastern. Skating Strides Against Breast Cancer has been an initiative across Hockey East since January 2007. This initiative has raised over $400,000 for breast cancer charities across New England in that time. Funds raised by the Black Bears were donated to the Patrick Dempsey Center for Cancer Hope and Healing in Lewiston.

• The Black Bears head to Vermont for its last Hockey East matchup before 2019, squaring up with the Catamounts on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1 at Gutterson Fieldhouse.
• Ending 2018, Maine travels for a one game bout against Harvard at the Bright-Landry Hockey Center for an out of conference tilt on Dec. 7.
