NASHUA, N.H. -- The University of Maine women's cross country team placed ninth with 249 points at the 2018 America East Cross Country Championships, held at Mines Falls Park on Saturday afternoon.

Haley Lawrence was Maine's top finisher, checking in 30th at 18:21.89. Emma Jourdain placed 51st in 18:56.03 while Faith Gardner crossed the line 73rd with a time of 19:51.24.
