Orono, Maine -- University of Maine offensive lineman Jamil Demby has accepted his invitation to showcase his talents at the 2018 National Football League Players Association (NFLPA) Collegiate Bowl. The 2018 NFLPA Collegiate Bowl will be held at Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, California on Jan. 20 and broadcast on FS1 at 4 p.m. EST.

The Collegiate Bowl, deemed the premier College Football All-Star Game, is a week-long experience that provides players with the chance to showcase their game to National Football League (NFL) scouts and coaches, while learning from the best in the business. The Collegiate Bowl not only prepares players for the speed and intensity of professional football, but also for the business and lifestyle changes that come with it.

Super Bowl Champion coaches Mike Martz and Darrell Green will serve as head coaches of the National and American teams, respectively. Full coaching staffs feature accomplished NFL player and coaching veterans.

Demby, a 6-foot-5, 335-pound offensive lineman, has garnered several postseason awards following his senior season with the Black Bears. Demby earned All-CAA First Team honors and was selected to the Phil Steele Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) All-America First Team. The Vineland, N.J. native was also a STATS FCS All-America Second Team and All-New England Football Team honoree.
