Jamil Demby to Compete at 2018 Reese's Senior Bowl

Orono, Maine -- Fresh off his performance in the 2018 NFLPA Collegiate Bowl, University of Maine offensive lineman Jamil Demby has been selected to compete at the 69th annual Reese's Senior Bowl on Saturday, Jan. 27 at 2:30 p.m. EST at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile, Alabama. The game will be nationally televised live on the NFL Network.

The Senior Bowl is the nation's most unique football game and football's premier senior showcase event. It annually features the country's best senior collegiate football players and top NFL draft prospects on teams representing the North and South that are coached by the entire coaching staffs of two National Football League teams.

Demby will compete as a member of the North squad and be coached by Vance Joseph and his Denver Broncos staff.

Practices on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday will be televised live by NFL Network and the Wednesday and Thursday practices will also be covered live by ESPN on ESPNU. The NFL Network will produce hour-long recap shows each evening as well.

Demby, a 6-foot-5, 335-pound offensive lineman, has garnered several postseason awards following his senior season with the Black Bears. Demby earned All-CAA First Team honors and was selected to the Phil Steele Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) All-America First Team. The Vineland, N.J. native was also a STATS FCS All-America Second Team and All-New England Football Team honoree.
