Men' and Women's Track Teams Compete on Day One of Black Gold Challenge

ORLANDO, Florida -- The University of Maine competed at UCF, Friday, for day one of the Black and Gold Challenge.

Third-year Kelby Mace finished fourth in the men's javelin throw with a top throw of 57.96m.

Third-year Thomas Murray finished in third in the men's hammer throw with a top throw of 50.27m.

Fourth-year Grace MacLean finished in sixth in the women's javelin with a top throw of 24.89m

The Black Bears will finish the Black and Gold Challenge on Saturday.
