JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – On Thursday morning, Cheyenne Figueora competed in the hammer throw in the 2025 NCAA DI Outdoor Track & Field East Regional at the University of North Florida's Hodges Stadium

Figueroa's longest throw of the morning came on her second heave, reaching 185.1' (56.43m). The Providence, R.I. native's first throw was 178.4' (54.36m) and her third was 180.4' (54.97). The senior finished 32nd overall and second among America East student-athletes.

The East First Round meet is scheduled to run Wednesday, May 28 through Saturday, May 31 at the University of North Florida. The top 12 individual qualifiers from each event at each First Round Regional will qualify for the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships. The NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships will take place June 11-13 at Hayward Field at the University of Oregon.
