ORONO, Maine - University of Maine Sophomore Forward Vivien Beil was named this year's first America East Women's Soccer Player of the Week.

Beil tallied a goal and an assist for the Black Bears as they went 2-0 in their first week of action. This included an assist in their opening 2-0 win over LIU Brooklyn, and scored the first goal in their 2-1 victory over Central Connecticut State.

Beil and the Black Bears return to action Thursday night, August 25th, to face Holy Cross at 7:00pm at Mahaney Diamond.
