As the 2015-16 Women's Ice Hockey Season comes to a close, Seniors Audra Richards and Meghann Treacy have left their mark on the UMaine record books.

In the 2015-16 season, the Maine Women's Ice Hockey team played 35 total games, which is tied for the most games played in a season with the 2001-02 season when the Black Bears finished 16-15-4.

Audra Richards ends her career at UMaine with 45 career goals, which puts her amongst the top 7 goal-scorers in UMaine history, tied in 5th place with Sonia Corriveau and Alison Lorenz. Richards claimed her own record, however, by playing in the most career games as a Black Bear with 132 career games, beating out Myriam Croussette, Dawn Sullivan, and Cheryl White who were all previously tied for the record at 131. Richards also sits among 5 other Black Bears with 8 game winning goals; all 5 players are tied for 3rd place in UMaine history.

On the defensive end of the ice, Meghann Treacy ends her career playing in 99 games for the Black Bears, putting her in second place all-time behind Genevieve Turgeon who had 100. Treacy also finishes second all-time in career saves with 2,848, exactly 100 saves behind Turgeon who had 2,948. She also finished tied for third in career wins with 23, with Turgeon and Rachel Gettings. In career save percentage, Treacy finishes 2nd in Maine history, tied with Amy Oliver with .918.

In her senior season, Treacy broke the record for most games played by a Maine goalie in a single season with 33, the former #1 being Rachel Gettings with 31. She finishes second in most saves in a season with 927, behind Turgeon's 08-09 season when she had 975. Treacy's 2015-16 save percentage of .921 puts her in 5th place, tied with Brittany Ott's 2010-11 season.

In Hockey East records, Treacy will end her career in the top 5 for career saves in a Hockey
