Austin Howard added a career-high 23 points on 8-for-11 shooting with four 3-pointers as Maine went 23-for-55 from the floor and 19-of-26 from the free throw line.

Dartmouth answered, erasing the Maine lead with a 21-4 run, taking its first lead of the game and a nine-point edge, 25-16, with 6:38 to play in the first.
The Big Green lead swelled to double-digits when a Mike Fleming 3-pointer put them up 12.
