Background: Played summer ball for the East Coast Lumber Jacks ... In 2022, he played for the Old Town Road Patriots in the ACBL where he had 20 hits in 19 games and 11 RBIs ... In high school, Friend carried a .390 average, .510 on base percentage with 2 homeruns and 28 runs batted in.

Coach Derba on Friend: Jack is a high contact offensive player, that will be able to play three positions in the infield. I expect him to be a high offensive performer at some point in his time here.
