IN 2015: Appeared in 46 games for the Black Bears, making 43 starts... hit .250 on the season with 30 runs scored and 17 RBI... belted seven doubles and three triples... swiped eight of nine stolen bases... named America East Player of the Week on March 10... named a Maine Scholar-Athlete Award winner. 

IN 2014: Started all 35 games that he played in for the Black Bears... hit .250 with 18 runs scored and 13 RBI... had five doubles on the season.. had a six-game hitting streak midway through the season.  

IN 2013: Saw action in 20 games his rookie season, making nine starts... hit .340 with 11 runs scored and 12 RBI... had a pair of doubles... went 3-for-4 with three runs scored and four RBI in Maine’s win over UMPI (4/30)... hit a home run in Maine’s game against Boston College (5/14)... named a Maine Scholar-Athlete *Rising Star* and also named to the America East Academic Honor Roll. 

Before Maine: Played varsity baseball at Park Vista High School in Boynton Beach, Fla. for coach Larry Greenstein... hit .350 and ranked third on the team in stolen bases... committed just two errors his senior season...  was among the top 50 baseball players in Florida... an all-county selection for defense... also played football and was the team’s quarterback where he earned all-county honors... born Feb. 28, 1994... son of Tracy and Gary Bussey... a park, recreation and tourism major... has two brothers, one played baseball at Liberty and the other played football at USAFA.
