IN 2015: Saw aciton in 28 games for the Black Bears, starting 17 games behind the plate... scored five runs and drove in three... belted a home run at NYIT (5/2)... named a Maine Scholar-Athlete Award winner... named to the America East Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll. 

IN 2014: Saw action in 52 games for the Black Bears, making 46 starts behind the plate... hit .214 with 22 runs scored and 15 RBI... had four doubles and a pair of home runs on the campaign.. went 2-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI in Maine’s game at Florida Atlantic (3/12)... homered in Maine’s game at Binghamton (4/20)... went 2-for-3 with a runs scored and two RBI in Maine’s 9-4 win over Albany (5/10)... named a Maine Scholar-Athlete Award winner. 

IN 2013: Played in 24 games for the Black Bears, earning 11 starts... hit .234 with five runs scored and four RBI... had four doubles on the season... went 2-for-2 with a runs scored at Stetson (2/23)... also had a pair of hits against Chicago State (3/10)... named a Maine Scholar-Athlete *Rising Star* and also named to the America East Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll. 

BEFORE MAINE: Captain for Dave Hansen at Central High School in Rhode Island... saw time as catcher... born Jan. 7, 1994... son of Rebeka and Nicolas Salcedo... plans to major in pre law... has two brothers who played baseball at Rhode Island College.
