Biography

2016: Played in all 11 games with three starts; recorded one catch for 12-yards at Delaware (10/8); CAA All-Academic Team; Maine Scholar-Athlete Gold Medalist.

2015: Played in eight games with three starts; made four receptions for 54-yards; recorded a pair of catches for 42-yards, including a 32-yarder against Stony Brook; made his first career reception at UAlbany; CAA All-Academic team; Maine Scholar-Athlete Silver Medalist.

2014: Did not see any game action; Maine Scholar-Athlete Bronze Medalist.

BEFORE MAINE/PERSONAL: Captain for Coach Bob Zaruta at Dallas; led team to the 2010 Conference Championship; Named All-Conference at tight end and defensive end; played in the Unico All-Star game; also played basketball where he led the team to a Conference Championship and earned district medals for three years in track; an honor roll student; Born Aug. 20, 1994; Son of Theresa and Benard Simonovich; a marketing major.
