Men's Basketball Announces Conference Schedule

Conference play will begin on Jan. 2
Orono, Maine -- The America East Conference announced the 2026-27 schedule for league play on Tuesday afternoon. The University of Maine men's basketball program will begin America East action on January 2 and conclude the regular season on March 2.
The Black Bears will head to Bryant to open up conference action on Saturday, Jan. 2 before returning to Orono to host NJIT and UMBC on Jan. 7 and Jan. 9.
Following an off week, Maine will host UMass Lowell on Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, Jan. 18 before heading to New York to take on Binghamton on Jan. 21 and UAlbany on Jan. 23.
The Black Bears return to Orono on Thursday, Jan. 28 to host Vermont and Saturday, Jan. 30 to host UNH in the Buffalo Wild Wings Border Battle.
After a three-game road trip with stops at UMass Lowell (Feb. 4), UMBC (Feb.11) and NJIT (Feb.13) the Black Bears host Bryant on Wednesday, Feb. 17.
Maine heads to UNH on Feb. 20 before hosting Binghamton Thursday, Feb. 25 and then wrapping up their home schedule on Saturday, Feb. 27 against UAlbany.
The Black Bears conclude the regular season at Vermont on Tuesday, March 2.
