Brandon Chabrier signs pro contract with Maine Mariners

ORONO, Maine – Defenseman Brandon Chabrier of the University of Maine men's ice hockey team has signed a professional contract with the Maine Mariners (ECHL), the organization announced on Tuesday evening.
The Mariners are the ECHL affiliate of the Boston Bruins (NHL) and Providence Bruins (AHL).
Chabrier, a senior, skated in 133 games over his four seasons in Maine. He finished his Maine career with 49 points on seven goals and 42 assists and a plus-26 rating. Chabrier recorded a career-high 38 blocked shots this season and finished his collegiate career with 115.
The Bayville, N.Y. native was a two-time Hockey East Defender of the Month and four-time Hockey East Defender of the Week in his Black Bear career.
