Single game tickets go on sale Aug. 25!
ORONO, Maine – University of Maine men's ice hockey fans will have 19 chances to catch the Black Bears at Alfond Arena during the 2026-27 season.
While season tickets for the 2026-27 season are sold out, single-game tickets go on sale to the general public at 8:30 a.m. on Aug. 25. Fans who qualify for priority access will have the opportunity to purchase tickets during exclusive presale windows beginning Monday, Aug. 17.
Fans interested in earlier access to single-game tickets can find information below on priority access opportunities and eligibility.
Maine will open the 50th season at Alfond Arena on Friday, Oct. 9 against Quinnipiac. The full 2026-27 schedule can be found here.
Single-Game Ticket On-Sale Dates
Priority Group 1
- Monday, Aug. 17 at 8:30 a.m. – Tuesday, Aug. 18 at 4 p.m.
- Wednesday, Aug. 19 at 8:30 a.m. – Thursday, Aug. 20 at 4 p.m.
Priority Groups 1,2 and 3
- Friday, Aug. 21 at 8:30 a.m. – Monday, Aug. 24 at 4 p.m.

Priority Group Access
New for the 2026-27 season, University of Maine Athletics has introduced a priority group system for men's hockey single-game tickets. The system rewards Maine Athletics season ticket members across all ticketed sports, along with eligible supporters, by providing earlier access to the limited single-game ticket inventory before sales open to the general public.
Fans in higher priority groups receive access to multiple presale windows, providing additional opportunities to secure tickets before inventory is made available to the next priority group.
Priority Group 1
- Current men's hockey season ticket holders
- Current women's hockey season ticket holders
- Donors of $5,000+ annually to Maine Athletics (includes Alfond Fund, Capital Campaign, Endowments)
- Current football season ticket holders
- Current men's basketball season ticket holders
- Current women's basketball season ticket holders
Priority Group 3
- Active men's hockey season ticket waitlist members
Priority Group 4
- General public
Fans looking to improve their priority status still have opportunities to do so. Football, men's basketball, women's basketball and women's ice hockey season ticket memberships are available now. Fans may also improve their priority by making a qualifying annual gift of $5,000 or more to Maine Athletics through the Alfond Fund. Details on making a gift to the Alfond Fund can be found here.
Single game tickets for contests at Alfond Arena will be available for purchase online or via phone (M-F, 8:30 a.m.- 4:00 p.m.). Sales are online only during non-business hours.
Due to anticipated high demand, fans are encouraged to purchase single game tickets early. Single-game tickets range from $31-$95, with an additional $7 fee per ticket on gameday purchases.
