ORONO, Maine -- Adrianna Smith has been named one of 10 semifinalists for the 2026 Becky Hammon Mid-Major Player of the Year Award, presented by Her Hoop Stats.

Smith has been featured at the top of the statistical leaders in the America East all season long and currently leads the league in scoring, rebounding, and assists. As of writing, Smith ranks 12th in the country in scoring (21.9) and 25th in rebounding (10.0). She has posted an America East high 14 double-doubles this season and has recorded double-digit scoring totals in 25 of her 26 outings, with 20 or more points in 16 games. On Nov. 29, Smith posted her first career triple-double with 19 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 assists against Saint Francis.

To be eligible for the award, players must compete in one of the 26 conferences deemed to be "mid-major." The five finalists will be announced in early March, with the winner announced around the Final Four.
