Orono, Maine – The University of Maine basketball team fell against New Hampshire on Monday afternoon, 65-48.
After a closely contested opening few minutes, the Wildcats pushed out to a double-digit lead a little over seven minutes into the game.
The Wildcats led at the break, 34-21.
The Black Bears had seven different players record at least two points in the first half.
New Hampshire was able to maintain their lead, coming away with the victory, 65-48.

- Steele had a team-high nine points and eight rebounds.
- Nine different Black Bears scored at least two points.
- Maine held UNH to just 44% shooting and only 22% from three-point range.

The Black Bears (3-17) remain in Orono as they take on UAlbany on Thursday, Jan. 22. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 PM.
