ORONO, Maine -- The renovated Shawn Walsh Hockey Center and Alfond Arena is officially open and we invite you to show your support, create a legacy and inspire the next generation of student-athletes! A limited number of naming opportunities in both the Shawn Walsh Hockey Center and Alfond Arena are still available.
Current Opportunities:
Women's Locker Room Name Plate: $10k
Women's Dry Locker Room Name Plate: $8k
Men's Dry Locker Room Name Plate: $8k
Women's and Men's Stick Storage: $8k
Additional naming opportunities throughout the project are available at $25k and up.
Any gift of $5k or more qualifies for the puck recognition honor wall in the newly renovated Dexter Lounge.
Pledge terms are flexible and commitments can be paid over a five-year period. In addition to gifts made by check or credit card, we welcome wire transfers, gifts of securities, and other capital assets and tangible property. Donations benefiting the University of Maine are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
