ORONO, Maine -- The University of Maine cross country programs are set to compete in the Maine State Meet hosted by Bowdoin College, Saturday September 20.
Event Information:
- The men's 8k will kick off the day starting at 10 AM
- The women's 6k will follow starting at 11 AM
- Awards will be held starting at 12 PM

Male Athletes to Highlight:
Logan Ross: The junior is coming off of a strong finish in his Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field season. Ross is looking to build off of that success in his first Cross Country event this season.
Aran Johnson: The freshman is coming off a 13th place overall finish in Maine's opening contest against Army back on August 29th. Johnson finished with a time of 26:06.5 in his first collegiate meet.
Carter Libby: The sophomore is coming off a strong freshman campaign for the Black Bears that included a top 15 finish at the Bruce Kirsh Cross Country Cup back on October 11, 2024. Libby finished 20th overall in Maine's opening contest against Army with a time of 26:37.7
Female Athletes to Highlight:
Ruby Krasnow: The graduate student is competing in her first Cross Country season with the Black Bears after a strong campaign with Clark University. Krasnow finished in 8th place in Maine's opening meet against Army on August 29 with a time of 18:44.6.
Bea Reeser: The sophomore is returning to action after finishing with a personal best time of 20:21.1 in Maine's opening contest against Army on August 29.
Lauren Hamilton: The freshman is competing in her second collegiate contest for the Black Bears on Saturday. Hamilton finished her first collegiate meet with a time of 19:06.8 in the opening contest of the season.
