ORONO, Maine -- The University of Maine field hockey team plays on the road for the first time this season on Friday at Dartmouth before it returns home on Sunday to face New Haven. Friday's game will be at 3 p.m. and Sunday's game will be at 12 p.m. Both games will be aired on ESPN+.

ABOUT MAINE:
- Maine is coming into this weekend after a weekend sweep at home against Quinnipiac and Stonehill. Maine beat Quinnipiac 2-1 in overtime on Friday and beat Stonehill 5-1 on Sunday.
- Saylor Kuefler tallied the overtime winner against Quinnipiac, scoring the first overtime winner for the Black Bears since Poppy Lambert when she scored the overtime winner versus New Hampshire (11/2/23). Eloise Penty tallied seven points in the Sunday's 5-1 win over Stonehill, which was the most points scored in a game when Molly Mackesy scored 10 points back in 2022. Penty was also named the America East Offensive Player of the Week for her performance against Stonehill.
- Jayde Temby made her return to the cage, playing all 123 minutes of both contests while making nine saves in the two games over the weekend.
- Maine tallied 24 penalty corners over the two games in the weekend sweep.
ABOUT DARTMOUTH:
- Dartmouth comes in to this contest 1-0 on the season after defeating Bryant 2-1 on the road in their opening contest on Friday September 5.
- Emma Bowman and Amelie Luessman are tied for the team lead in goals with one a piece.
- Kylie McKinley and Ava Carlson split the game in the cage for the Big Green in the season opening contest.
- Dartmouth held Bryant to just 4 shots in the contest.
ABOUT NEW HAVEN:
- New Haven is coming into this weekend still looking for their first win on the season. Bryant (6-0), Albany (10-0), La Salle (9-1)
- Jalia Cooper leads the team in goals, scoring against La Salle.
- New Haven will host Sacred Heart University on Friday in their Home Opener.
