ORONO, Maine -- KeyBank, a sponsor of UMaine Athletics, has launched a promotion in partnership with the Black Bears to recognize a small business that is making a positive impact in the Maine Community.

KeyBank is seeking nominations from local small businesses at https://bit.ly/MaineSmallBusinessSpotlight2025 beginning today through May 19, 2025. In order to qualify, the business must be located within Maine and make less than $5 million in revenue.

The winning business will receive $5,000 in marketing assets through UMaine Athletics. The business will also be recognized at a University of Maine Athletic event this season.

KeyBank will assemble a panel to review all submissions and choose the winner when nominations close next month.
