Boston, MA - The University of Maine Track and Field program competed in the America East Indoor Championships on Saturday Feb 22 and Sunday Feb 23 at the Boston University Track and Tennis Center. The Black Bears finished in 7th place with a total of 40 points.

Cheyenne Figueroa finished in 1st place with a distance of 18.84m (61' 9.75"), becoming the America East Champion for the second year in a row and was named an All Conference member.
Rebekah Hunnewell-Dunphe finished 18th with a distance of 13.27m (43' 6.5").
Long Jump:
Sonya Rybalko finished 7th with a distance of 5.56m (18' 3").
Saphryn Humason finished 20th with a distance of 5.09m (16' 8.5").
Pole Vault:

Marlee Yoder finished 6th with a time of 17:22.05.
Ruby Krasnow finished 10th with a time of 17:38.02.

Meredith Walters, Abby Rodriquenz, Cassidy Novicka, and Addison Nelson finished 8th with a time of 12:11.79, which now sits 4th all time for Maine.
