ORONO, Maine – In preparation of hosting America East playoff games, Maine Athletics announces a new playoff ticket priority structure for men's and women's basketball.
With the current America East playoff structure, the women's team would potentially host games on Thursday, March 6 (Quarterfinals), Monday, March 10 (Semifinals), and Friday, March 14 (Championship). The men's team would host on Saturday, March 8, Tuesday, March 11, and Saturday, March 15.
MEN'S and WOMEN'S PLAYOFF TICKET PRIORITY TIMELINE
Season Ticket Holders and Donors - Feb. 20 - Feb. 28
General Public - No later than Mar. 1
Season Ticket Holders
Current season ticket holders will be given first priority to purchase tickets. Season ticket holders may purchase the same number of tickets that they had during the regular season. Tickets will be available as a three-game package, encompassing all possible playoff games. Individual game sales will not be available until the general public on-sale date.
Playoff tickets for season ticket holders exclusively go on sale Feb. 20 and will remain available until Feb. 28.
If a season member purchases the playoff package and Maine does not host a contest, the funds collected will instead be applied as a deposit towards 2025-26 season ticket purchases.
Donors
Alfond Fund donors will be given next priority. Starting Feb. 20, those who have contributed $1,000+ in the last year or have surpassed $25,000 in lifetime giving to Maine Athletics will have the opportunity to purchase tickets before the general public on-sale date. Each donor household may purchase up to two tickets.
General Public
Tickets to the general public will not be available until after Maine has officially clinched a home playoff game.
The ticket office will reach out with instructions on how to purchase and additional information before each group's on sale date.
